Gangster
Lighting

Here below is the initial render done for the assignment.
The first image being the given plate and the next one being the plate with the added final render done by me.

This project started off as a test assignment given to me from a reputed company. A plate was given and my job was to add lighting to the gun match it to plate. It was certainly a new experience for me. If these models were simply given to me and I was told to make a render, I would have done something else. Although, this task was all about matching the reference and not touching the plate.
After the assignment was over, I decided to rework on the background plate and also change a couple of things. Some of the things that I then altered were smoothing all the models, changing texture of table wood, tweaking other materials and also making the aspect ratio a bit wider. However, the main difference being the change of magazines. As seen above, I decided to go for old newspapers which I felt were more appropriate to the vibe of the image and also of relevance. In terms of colour, it looked more old and hence more akin to an image associated with mafia.
