A year ago, 3D modelling a car was attempted and failed at miserably. I came upon it one day and decided to go at it once again. This time I modeled Bugatti Chiron as seen above. It was certainly more challenging than anticipated, however I was content with the final result. It was then textured with Substance Painter in a black carbon fiber manner.
Upon finishing the car, I gave a lot of importance to the lighting and mood of the render. I envisioned the black vehicle in a dreamy highway all alone in the dark. From that I developed the idea and came up with these images. While I also wanted to create an outdoor daylight environment, this mood was more cohesive with the textures and look of the car as opposed to a bright sunny surrounding.
